About Chase Thayer
Chase has spent nearly two decades working alongside individuals and families navigating addiction, recovery, mental health challenges, major life transitions, and the complicated space that comes with trying to create real change.
His work began in 2008 at New Life House in Los Angeles, where he eventually became House Director, helping lead a home of 36 young men ages 18–22 through early recovery. It was there that Chase learned something that would shape the rest of his career: helping one person change is rarely enough. The family, relationships, environment, patterns, and life waiting for them outside of treatment matter just as much.
That realization led Chase deeper into family work, case management, interventions, admissions, outreach, life skills development, and long term client support. Over the years, he has worked with adolescents, young adults, men, parents, couples, and families at nearly every stage. From active crisis and treatment placement to rebuilding relationships, finding direction, maintaining recovery, and figuring out what comes next.
Chase's approach doesn't fit neatly into one box. He combines mentorship, integration, accountability, case management, family support, and real world problem solving based on what the person in front of him actually needs. His formal training, including intervention training and years working within the behavioral health and treatment field, is only part of what he brings to the table. His own lived experience with recovery, relationships, fatherhood, personal growth, and doing the work himself shapes the way he connects with people.
He founded Austin Integration Coaching after seeing the same gap again and again: people could receive excellent treatment, therapy, or have a profound experience and still struggle with how to carry that change into everyday life.
AIC was created to help bridge that.
Today, Chase works with individuals and families who may be navigating recovery, relationship breakdowns, family conflict, psychedelic experiences, major transitions, or simply the realization that something in their life needs to change. His strength is meeting people where they actually are, building trust without judgment, and helping turn insight into something they can live.
